Wow!  I just visited your website and am in awe of the work you do building better human beings as you develop great hockey players. I am so impressed by your work through Millennium Hockey Development.  When I saw the 212 Degrees, I knew you were my kind of person. I love that video – and mindset.  Your philosophy on teaching life skills and nurturing compassionate human beings, rather than just winning at the sport of hockey, reflects my own beliefs as a mother and grandmother.  Keep up the great work; our youth need all the positive exposure they can get.  Thanks again for your generosity to AHA.

This spring and summer I had the opportunity to work on-ice with a very good hockey coach at the ISHL Steel weekly development clinic, his name is Dave Berger.  Dave’s practices were very organized with goal-based drills that were well explained, reasons for doing them, and only performed correctly.  His practices were fast tempo and except for explanations or corrections, were non-stop.  Dave quickly and calmly handled a player that was not focusing, which would have become a problem if let go.

Having you work with St. Elizabeth High School Ice Hockey as an instructor has been a great addition to my staff. We could not have asked for a better solution to the difficult task of teaching a multi leveled skill team, how to function and grow.

Your coaching knowledge has kept our practices up-tempo, challenging for all levels and on track to give our players the most hockey training we could ever expect over the course of one season. As the head coach, you have become invaluable to me as to your ability to adapt a practice to our specific needs. You amaze me with precise drills for exactly the skill we may need for every situation or upcoming game. Your total command of the ice during practices has given me an opportunity to work one-on-one with players without having the concern of players standing around.

Having you work with our club has given us the opportunity and ability to attain the best record our club has ever had, with half the season remaining!  Thank You.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the outstanding camp that you put together for our Midget and Bantam players this summer. With the vastly improved level of play in the DVHL, it is critical for our players to get on the ice prior to the official start of the winter hockey season.

With Millennium Hockey and Dave Berger to start the year off, the players are excited and anxious to get started. Both parents and players appreciate the organized manner in which the camps are run and also the clear level of communication that you provide on even the most difficult of drills. It is apparent that your experiences working with Collegiate and NHL caliber players have put you in the ranks of the elite in youth hockey development. In year one of the relationship between Millennium Hockey and the Delaware Ducks, you were an integral piece of the pie that produced a Midget level DVHL Champion as well as an Atlantic District Championship Runner Up at the Pee Wee AA level.

Our hopes are that with your support, we will experience even greater success in the 2006/2007 Ice Hockey Season. Our players, parents, and coaches all look forward to seeing you at the rink throughout the year.
